Con Edison offers expert advice, free energy surveys and financial incentives for approved energy efficiency upgrades in affordable housing co-ops, apartments and other multi-family buildings. Eligible buildings must have five to 75 units and an active Con Edison electric and/or natural gas account that pays into the System Benefits Charge (SBC). Financial incentives of up to $20,000 are available for the installation of an energy management system. Incentives are available for approved common area lighting, heating, cooling and in-unit upgrades as well.
