WOODSTOCK--The Hudson Valley Furniture Makers hvfurnituremakers.com announce their first Summertime Exhibition and Sale, which will be held at Kleinert/James Art Center, at 34 Tinker St. Woodstock. The public is invited to an opening reception Friday, June 3, from 7 to 10 p.m. The Exhibition and Sale will continue for two consecutive weekends June 4 and 5 and June 10, 11 and 12 from 11 a.m. to 6 .p.m.

Artists John Cox, Josh Finn, Rob Hare, Andrew Hunter, Jeff Johnson, Anissa Kapsales, Michael Puryear, and Nicholas Simile will each have work featured in this Exhibition and Sale. These talented furniture designer/makers are driven by design. They are some of our area's best artisans, according to the release. Each engages with their clients on an individualized basis, dedicating long hours on fine craftsmanship to ensure that each piece they make is of lasting quality, enduring beauty, and exquisite design. The work offered by these designers is a terrific way for you to personalize and enhance your live/work spaces, and to buy local.

The Hudson Valley Furniture Makers was founded in 2008 to showcase the designer/makers of custom furniture in the region.
