COLD SPRING-- The Garden Conservancy invites plant enthusiast to experience two private gardens in Millerton, as part of the Open Days Program.

The event will be on August 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors can begin their day with a tour at the Hyland/Went Garden, located at 95 Taylor Road. Directions for the additional property will be given there.

Some of the highlights of the day will include modern garden grasses, wildflower meadows, a naturalist rock garden, and even a vegetable garden with “unusual edibles.”

No reservations are required. The cost is $5 per garden. Children 12 and under will be admitted for free.
